Product: HP EliteBook 840 G5 Base Model Notebook PC

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I have aHp Elitebook 840 G5 that has audio problems. The audio chip on it is aConexant CX7750 as it shows in the BIOS.

The audio device is not detected on Windows 10, Windows 11 or Ubuntu.

Audio is enabled in the BIOS, tried all possible drivers, installed, uninstalled them but nothing.

Not even the HP PC Diagnostic tool is able to detect the audio device.

Audio is however working when docked or a Bluetooth speaker is connected.
