#17409 I am looking for CAD software for window 7. I do have some drawing in file DWG. Can someone tell me which CAD program that can read DWG file. I used to have AutoCAD but I lost license. I don't want to buy another one. I was hope if there is free CAD software to use it. Reid |

#17410 If you only want to read old .dwg filesAutoCAD/Autodesk has a free program that canopen .dwg and show it. If you want a free program to draw in .dwg I do notknow. (Or, find an old AutoCAD version with crack(Illegal of course, if you are into that)). Succes, Carel. toggle quoted messageShow quoted text

#17413 Reid, If you are register user of AutoCAD product contact Autodesk to see if they can provide you with a replacement license. If that does not work, then Try AutoCAD 360 (formally AutoCAD WS) it free http://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad-360/overview?src=OMSE&mktvar002=598311 Dwyane |

#17416 AutoSketch is an Autodesk AutoCad "lite" and is a full featured program that works very well. You can get it with a disk for about $110 on the internet. Student purchases are very cheap. For most uses it is sufficient, and preferable to AutoCad, which is more than I need. It uses its own file format .SKF, but will save and read .DWG files. Verryl Fosnight There is more about the Wyoming Division giant 4,000 private HO layout at You can learn more about the Wyoming Division on SlickPic, where I have posted photos with captions at http://verrylvfosnightjr.slickpic.com/ Go to the album with the train mailbox on the cover. Take a look at the track plan and the empty building (the first 3 photos, then you can skip to photo #51 and view and read to the end. The intervening photos show the progression of the construction of the layout as it now stands. toggle quoted messageShow quoted text On Thu, Apr 17, 2014 at 6:52 AM, <mrsafe@...> wrote:

David Heine #17419 When I was “retired early” during the great recession, I was able to download a full copy for free just for being an unemployed engineer. The only issue is that it prints with a watermark. Dave Heine Easton, PA toggle quoted messageShow quoted text From: traintools@... #17423 I agree that the price of new software is way overpriced, but in February I bought TurboCAD v19 Deluxe on Amazon for $49.99. So it's not thecurrent release, big deal, it still has more features than I'll ever use. I just checked and it is still available at $49.99 and free shipping.. This is the retail box version, too. #17425 You will get offers of remarkably lower prices to upgrade to the more powerful versions as well as the newer editions of your cad, now that you bought one of their family of cad programs. It should work out well for you. Mike Bauers toggle quoted messageShow quoted text On Apr 18, 2014, at 8:08 AM, Joe Melhorn <toyman@...> wrote:
