Summer 2024 opening hours in health and social services | Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County (2024)

Some of our health centres are closed during the summer, and there may be exceptions to opening hours and the scope of operations. If your health centre is closed, you will receive help from another health centre.

• Espoo: Kalajärvi Health Centre is closed 3 June–30 August 2024.
• Espoo: Kivenlahti Health Centre is closed 17 June–11 August 2024.
• Raseborg: Pohja Health Centre is closed 1 June–31 August 2024.
• Kirkkonummi: Veikkola Health Centre is closed 17 June–11 August 2024.
• Kirkkonummi: Masala Health Centre is closed 17 June–11 August 2024.
• Karkkila Health Centre is closed 21 June–4 August 2024.
• Lohja: Karjalohja Health Centre is closed 24 June–4 August 2024.
• Lohja: Sammatti Health Centre is closed 24 June–4 August 2024.

In June, July and August, the services listed below will be carried out if possible within the resources available at the health centres. Each health centre will assess the situation during the summer.

• driving licence examinations (including professional drivers)
• non-urgent IUD replacements. Appointments will be available to clients who wish to start contraception or have an IUD or contraceptive implant fitted.
• non-urgent elective procedures
• non-urgent hearing tests

• Rehabilitation and assistive equipment services in Karkkila are closed 21 June–4 August 2024.
• Rehabilitation and assistive equipment services in Siuntio are closed 1 July–26 July 2024.
• Rehabilitation and assistive equipment services in Veikkola are closed 17 June –11 August 2024.

The smallest maternity and child health clinics are closed during a number of weeks in the summer, and clients are directed to the services of another clinic. From 17 June to 11 August 2024, maternity and child health clinics see primarily pregnant women and children between 0 and 12 months of age. The evening opening hours will not apply either.

• Villa Breda Service Centre is closed 1 July–31 July 2024, Bredantie 16, tel. 0404854957. The restaurant of the service centre remains open in July. However, it offers services 1 July–2August 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm.

In Disability Services, there are exceptions to opening hours of the Disability Services customer service. The activity centres for work and daytime activities and one unit for short-term care are closed in July.
