K C Leung was reprimanded. As a result, HIGH RISE POWER shifted in and was corrected by its rider C L Chau. After the event, C L Chau reported that his mount, after racing keenly in the early stages, came under pressure in the middle stages and failed to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. |
