North Quarter itself is extremely convenient for commuting as you have access to I4 and Colonial (50) right away. It is very close to a major hospital system, and lots of local boutiques and restaurants. Although it is easy to get to your destination there is a ton of traffic. I would say the benefit to North Quarter is the diversity, proximity to restaurants and popular Orlando neighborhoods, and the bike trail. We took advantage of the Urban Bike Trail for both biking and walking. I wouldn't say I felt totally safe at night as there were often drunk or questionable people, but during the day there were no issues (walking Virginia, Ivan Hoe, etc). For a working professional this location cannot be beat....
